At Oak Arbor, education is more than academics—it’s a sacred journey of heart, mind, and spirit.
Rooted in both the Bible and Montessori principles, our school nurtures children to grow in wisdom, compassion, and purpose. We create a space where faith is alive in daily life, and where spiritual curiosity is encouraged at every age.
Faith in the Classroom
Spiritual enrichment is woven into the rhythm of each day—from joyful songs and Bible stories to reflective conversations and chapel worship. We help children develop a personal connection with God and learn to live with kindness, responsibility, and inner strength.
By Age Level:
- Primary (Ages 3–6): Joyful daily worship and Bible stories that introduce God’s love in simple, beautiful ways.
- Lower Elementary (Grades 1–3): Twice-weekly chapel, daily worship, and deeper reflection on faith in everyday life.
- Upper Elementary (Grades 4–6): Religion classes and thoughtful spiritual discussions help children connect faith to real-life choices.
The Heart of Our Faith: The New Church
The Bible is our foundation. Inspired by the teachings of the New Church—a Christian faith centered on love, wisdom, and freedom—we guide children to live their beliefs with purpose and action. We teach that Jesus Christ is the one loving God, and that every person is on a unique, divinely guided path toward a joyful, useful life.
At the core of our spiritual approach:
- Charity: Loving others sincerely
- Faith: Trusting in the Lord as the source of all truth
- Good Works: Living with kindness, integrity, and purpose
- Repentance: Reflecting and striving to improve
- Obedience to Divine Law: Living in alignment with God’s truth
We also believe in the eternal potential of every soul and the deep spiritual connection within marriage and family life.
Open to All
While our foundation is in New Church Christianity, we welcome families of all faiths who value spiritual growth, respectful community, and a nurturing environment. You don’t have to be a member of our church to be part of our school family—we simply ask that you support our Christian values and our focus on whole-child development.
