Spiritual Enrichment at Oak Arbor Montessori
At Oak Arbor Montessori School, we nurture not only the intellectual and emotional growth of our students but also their spiritual development. Rooted in the teachings of the New Church and the Montessori philosophy, our approach fosters a deep connection with God, the Bible, and the essential principles of a life guided by love and wisdom.
Daily Worship & Chapel
Spiritual enrichment is woven into the daily rhythm of our classrooms, helping students develop a meaningful relationship with the Lord:
- Primary Classroom – Each morning concludes with worship, featuring age-appropriate Bible stories that instill a love for the Lord and help children understand His love for us.
- Lower Elementary Classroom – Worship deepens as children grow, incorporating reflection and discussion on Bible stories. Additionally, students participate in two chapel worship services each week, fostering a sense of shared faith and community.
- Upper Elementary Classroom – Students engage in religion class twice a week, attend chapel twice a week, and take part in classroom worship, encouraging thoughtful exploration of faith, scripture, and personal spiritual growth.
Essential Principles of Life
Our spiritual curriculum is infused with core values that guide students in their daily lives:
- Charity — Genuinely loving our neighbors
- Faith — Embracing the Lord Jesus Christ as the Source of all Love and Wisdom
- Good Works — Doing what is right and useful
- Repentance — Examining ourselves, admitting our shortcomings, and striving to grow
- A Life in Accordance with Divine Laws — Following the Lord’s commandments and walking in His path
A Welcoming Community
You do not need to be a member of our Church Community to attend Oak Arbor Montessori, but we encourage all families to embrace our inclusive approach to spiritual and moral education.
We also warmly invite you to join us for worship on Sundays at 10:30 AM. Come experience a community where faith, education, and love for the Lord intertwine to enrich our lives.
